Ray would've been disappointed!
In one of the smaller venues in Phoenix, we were pretty excited for the show. The diverse crowd definitely seemed very 'busy'. Constantly, people were going up and down the stairs, leaving and returning, which was distracting in itself. Halfway through Erra's set, a girl seated 4 seats to our left vomited all over herself and the floor. This incident changed the tone of the evening, through no fault of the band. For the next 30 minutes, everyone in the vicinity was hanging out in the back, waiting for clean up and the air to clear. The disruption caused by the vomit, combined with the lack of focus from the fans, really dampened the whole event.
